Augmented programming

When the world feed is produced, it is created with broadcast television audiences in mind. For the local live audience there are two problems: firstly there is little content tailored for them, and secondly the world feed is usually just the duration of the activity of the event itself. There is often nothing on the LED screens when the audience arrives and they can be dormant for hours before the world feed comes on line.

This has the audience under-entertained, and the promoter misses out on valuable opportunities.

An augmented programme fills in the gaps, adding considerable value to the audience and revenue to the organisers. It is also something we are most often asked to supply, and there are very powerful reasons why there should be augmented programming.

If there is good, engaging and appropriate content from the minute the audience walk in to the minute they leave, the promoter has the opportunity to engage, inform, sell, market and entertain for the entire time.

Likewise, the audience is entertained, informed and engaged throughout.
